| My pistons and cylinder walls are all fine, just needs new rings. No bore needed. Spoke to multiple machine shops and they're too booked to do the honing themselves and wait time would be 3-8 weeks and I need the car as soon as possible. From what I understand, special honing oil + 280 grit + 400 grit to plateau then ultra finish (possibly flex hone?) to clean? Should I use this: [ http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-LI15000-Engine-Cylinder-Hone/dp/B000GKIE4S/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1367445849&sr=1-1&keywords=lisle+hone ] Or the regular $25 Autozone honing tool? Is there a worthwhile difference for just seating new rings?
